Fundy Sea Shanty Fest
Sea shanties were work songs sung by sailors during the age of sail. They date back to at least the 1400's. These catchy and memorable tunes were sung to keep time with sailors while pulling on ropes or pushing on a capstan, and to relieve the boredom of long, repetitive tasks.
