DESCRIPTION:\n\n\nProfessor Paul Bogaard is a renowned historian and the foremost authority on Samuel de Champlain’s voyage into the Bay of Fundy. Professor Bogaard has had access to Champlain’s daily journals and it is his extensive research into these journals that has determined the origin of many names of particular landmarks along the Bay of Fundy. Professor Bogaard will be offering a public lecture and slide show regarding his historic and important discoveries on the Bay of Fundy. He will be available to answer questions after his presentation.The lecture will be held at the Fundy Trail interpretive centre\n\n\n\n
