The port of Saint John will be busy this week as Hurricane Matthew has forced two additional cruise ships to divert to Saint John. Both the Carnival Pride and Disney Magic had been on routes to visit the Bahamas and Florida but the big storm scuttled those plans. Instead, the two vessels are heading north with thousands of passengers on board. The Carnival Pride will dock in Saint John on Wednesday while the Disney Magic will arrive Thursday. They’ll join seven other cruise ships already scheduled to visit Saint John this week.
