A St. George woman is dead after a car-pedestrian accident in Waweig Wednesday night.

The 43 year old woman died in hospital after being struck on highway 1.  The driver of the truck that hit her, a 34 year old man also from the St. George area, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The investigation continues and there’s no word yet on charges.
