Conditional discharge for warning shots

A woman has been given a conditional discharge for firing gunshots into the air in June.

24 year old Ashley Stacey pleaded guilty to careless use of a firearm for shooting off the back deck of her Avery Lane home.  She surrendered the gun to police afterwards. She has been given a 10-year firearms ban and six months probation.

There seems to have been a dispute between Stacey and neighbours who had been shooting off fireworks that night.
