Fire in tissue building

A fire broke out at the Irving Tissue building Saturday night.

One of the buildings paper machines caught fire at the Mill Street location shortly after 9pm. Irving’s own emergency response team was able to extinguinsh the blaze prior the arrival of local firefighters. Damage is still being assessed and the cause of the fire is still being investigated.
