Soldiers Injured

Nine soldiers from Quebec were taken to hospital following a training accident at C-F-B Gagetown in New Brunswick.

Public affairs officer Captain Evelyne Lemire says a light armoured vehicle encountered a “terrain feature” and came to a sudden stop in a training area Friday morning.

Lemire says the soldiers are members of the Royal 22nd Regiment — known as the Van Doos.

She says they were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries and later released.
