Diamond theft suspects arrested

As a result of Canada-wide arrest warrants issued yesterday by the Saint John Police Force’s Major Crime Unit, two suspects have been arrested and are currently being held in custody by the York Regional Police Service in Ontario for the recent theft of a $10,000 diamond from a local jewelry store.

Grigori Zaharov, male, 70 years of age and Natalia Feldman, Female, 44 years of age of Vaughan Ontario, are facing theft related charges.

Arrangements are currently being made by the Saint John Police Force’s Major Crime Unit to have the two suspects transported back to Saint John.

The investigation is ongoing. These individuals are suspects in numerous other jurisdictions for similar incidents.
