The Blue Jays beat the Red Sox 2-1 and will play the Orioles in the wildcard game in Toronto tomorrow night.

In the Maritime Hockey League….the Slammers beat the St. Stephen Aces 4-2 in Woodstock.

In NHL pre-season hockey…the Leafs needed overtime to beat the Canadiens 3-2.  Oilers downed a Kings split-squad 3-2.  Jets shut down the Flames 4-0. Canucks lost 3-2 in overtime to the Sharks.

In the CFL…Alouettes handled the Argos 38-11.  In the NFL, the Patriots were shut down 16-0 by the Bills. In the Sunday night game…the Steelers pounded Kansas City 43-14.
