K100’s Community Pledge
K100’s Community Pledge is dedicated to supporting local organizations that make a difference in our community, and this November we are focusing on Hestia House and Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
Hestia House-a transitional home for women and children escaping domestic violence by offering shelter and support for 24 women and their children, it also provides counselling and guidance for community services, support groups and help for medical, legal employment and housing needs.
November is a pivotal month for fundraising and awareness with their Purple Lights campaign. This year, the goal is to raise $50,000 and you can help Hestia House by supporting their events, or their Purple Lights Online Auction during the month of November, along with their 50/50 lottery running until December 31st.
There are lots of events and way to get involved and help Hestia House this month!
For more information on how you can help, please go to Hestia House dot ca, or search Hestia House on Facebook and Instagram.
