Fall tune-up coming for refinery
Irving Oil says this fall’s tune-up at the oil refinery will lead to more than $15 million in benefits for the local economy.
CEO Mark Sherman says the six week project will cost $135 million and employ 2,400 workers. They will be doing various maintenance and infrastructure projects to increase the overall efficiency and performance of Canada’s largest oil refinery. It will continue to produce gasoline and other products while the maintenance is underway.
