Standoff plea

A West Side man will be sentenced later this month after pleading to charges stemming from a standoff with police earlier this week.

59 year old Donald Joseph Duguay was charged with utterring threats and other counts involving upstairs neighbours in the apartment building on St. John Street West. He was in court for a bail hearing yesterday and said he would plead guilty to two of the charges.

He’s been released on conditions until sentencing September 28th.
