Trial underway in matricide case

The trial is underway for Mathew Linus Tucker.  He formally pleaded not guilty yesterday to a charge of second degree murder in the death of his mother Dorothy Hattie Tucker in her Charlotte County home in 2014.

She was reported missing by her family from her home in Oak Haven. He body was found by hunters in woods ten days later…shot in the head.

The trial is expected to last two weeks.
