In the NHL…Leafs were pummeled by the Islanders 5-1.  Senators shut down the Oilers 2-0.  Flames lost 3-1 to Washington. Sabres downed the Jets 3-1.

Allouettes beat the Stampeders 17-8 in the CFL.  Patriots handled Buffalo 41-25 in the NFL.
