Contraband

The Gallant Government says its new Contraband Enforcement Unit has seized over 843,000 illegal cigarettes in its first six months.

The nine-person unit is credited with 17 seizures, with the co-operation of local police in Fredericton, Edmundston, Miramichi, Richibucto, Bathurst and Campbellton.
