Two in court for diamond theft

The two suspects in the diamond theft at W. Smith Jewelers in Brunswick Square were in court yesterday after being returned from the Toronto area.

70 year old Grigori Zaharov and 44 year old Natalia Feldman were only in court briefly asking for a Russian Interpreter. Although expressing some skepticism, the judge said one would be found for their next court appearance Monday.

The pair are also suspects in a diamond heist at a Charlottetown store and will likely be facing charges there as well as in other cities across the country.
