School emergency notifications
School emergency notifications
There’s a new system in the schools to inform parents about emergency situations.
The Anglophone South School District requires each school to have a system called SchoolConnects, which is an email and voicemail alerting service. Previously different schools had different systems. The Telegraph-Journal reports now it’s becoming uniform.
SchoolConnects allows a member of the office staff to send a message to all parents at a certain school or, if the crisis demands, every family in the district.
