Thanksgiving Storm

Some rain…some wind…some people still in the dark this morning, mainly in the southeastern part of the province.

We didn’t fare as badly in this area in this Thanksgiving storm as Nova Scotia and especially Cape Breton which saw significant flooding and roads washed out. They got 220mm of rain and winds gusting well over 100kph.

Still there are a couple of thousand NB Power customers without electricity this morning…mainly in the Shediac to Cape Tormentine area but also around Hopewell Cape.
