Taxi robberies

Taxis in Saint John were targeted by armed robbers twice in less than 24 hours this weekend.

Police told the Telegraph Journal two armed men robbed a taxi on Coburg Street early yesterday. Another taxi was robbed early Saturday morning by an armed man on Seely Street. Neither of the cabbies was injured.

Police don’t believe the two robberies are connected….descriptions of the suspects were different.
