Second Saint John Taxi hit by Armed Robbers

Taxis in Saint John have been targeted by armed robbers for the second time in just over 24 hours this weekend. Saint John Police tell the Telegraph Journal that shortly before 5am this morning two armed men robbed a taxi on Coburg Street. Another taxi was robbed early Saturday morning by an armed man on Seely Street. Neither of the cab drivers were injured. Police say they don’t believe the two robberies are connected.
