Saint John Residents Warned of Potential Water Problems

Saint John Residents may notice their drinking water becoming a little cloudy over the coming weeks. In a Press release, Saint John Water says they will be monitoring higher turbidity in drinking water. The utility says low water levels in the lakes that supply water to city could result in more sediment or organic matter finding it’s way into tap water. Saint John water says they will watching to make sure such sediment is properly disinfected but warn conditions could result in boil water orders over the next several weeks.
