RCMP apology

RCMP Commissioner Bob Paulson has issued an apology as he announced the settlement of two class-action lawsuits stemming from harassment of female officers on the force.

Paulson spoke about the hundreds of current and former officers and other employees subjected to bullying and discrimination. He announced a $100 million settlement of two class-action lawsuits for hundreds of women who have complained since 1974 when the first one was sworn-in.
