Illegal smokes seized

A Nova Scotia man is facing charges after the seizure of about 730,000 contraband cigarettes in a spot check on the Trans-Canada Highway yesterday.

RCMP pulled over a vehicle near New Maryland and found the cigarettes in a U-Haul trailer. A 27 year old Halifax man was arrested and will be in court in Fredericton January 20th.
