Pay equity

The Trudeau Government says it will make it mandatory for certain companies to pay women and men the same amount for equal work.

It will bring in legislation in 2018 to make pay equity mandatory for federally-regulated sectors…applying to about 874,000 workers. It will affect not only civil servants…but now banking, air travel and other companies as well.
