Man arrested in credit union holdup

A 51 year old man will be in court today charged with the latest holdup at the Bayview Credit Union.

Wesley Scopie was arrested on the weekend in connection with the holdup last Tuesday at the branch on Loch Lomond Road. Nobody was injured.

That was the third holdup at a Bayview Credit union this year. The other two were at the west side branch and involved younger men. No arrests have been made in those.
