Saint John Real Estate Booming

The housing market in Saint John is booming. Sales hit near record levels last month with 256 properties sold worth $42.4 million. That represents a 12% increase over July and a 50% increase over August of last year. The Saint John Real Estate Board says continuing low mortgage rates and a better initial asking price helped drive the increase.
