Campaign to Promote Public Breast Feeding in NB

Horizon Health Network has launched a campaign to promote breastfeeding in public places in the province. Over the next week community members will be wearing promotional buttons. People across the province are also being encouraged to post selfies on social media with the hash tag #BreastfeedHereNB. It’s hoped the campaign will make breastfeeding in public a more accepted practice and reduce the stigma many mothers still face.
