Saint John Water

Every year, Saint John Water crews clean up garbage and debris within the City’s watersheds as part of an ongoing effort to protect our lakes and the natural ecosystems that we depend upon for our drinking water.
This year, the public is invited to join staff from Saint John water and students and instructors with NBCC on Wednesday, October 5, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. to clean up identified areas in the Loch Lomond watershed on the City’s east side.
Students, City staff and volunteers will meet in the parking lot of St. Joseph’s Church, 4347 Loch Lomond Road, at 9 a.m. From there, everyone will be taken to designated cleanup locations (see attached map). Following the cleanup, all volunteers will return to the church lot, where they will be invited to stay for a free BBQ and refreshments hosted by Saint John Water.
Anyone interested in volunteering can register by calling 658-4455.
