Inner city schools under review

The Anglophone South School District is launching the review process for inner city schools in Saint John.

There have been declining enrollments and population shifts, so the Board hired consultants Ernst and Young to look at elementary and middle schools. It recommends one new school be built for grades 6 to 8…and grade reconfigurations at other schools.

The District Education Council will hold a series of public meetings this fall to outline the recomendations, then will seek public input.
