Flag raising at City Hall tomorrow

In 1990, the UN declared October 1st as the International Day for Older Persons. This year the event will be celebrated by a Flag Raising at City Hall in Saint John.

Saint John MP Wayne Long, Deputy Mayor Shirley McAlary and Alex Grimaldi, President NBFUR, and other dignitaries will take part. A social will be held afterwards at the Fire Fighter’s Hall on King Street East.
