Jail time for revenge porn

A teen has been sentenced to jail in what is probably the first conviction in the province for one of the new online crimes.

The 19 year old put intimate images of his ex-girlfriend online after breaking up with her. He can’t be named to protect her identity. He pleaded guilty to making available intimate images online without concent…also pleaded guilty to threatening her, slashing her tires and breaching probatuion.

The teen, who has been in custody since August 8th was sentenced to 3 months in jail.
