Quispamsis puts Hampton Road at top of work list

Quispamsis Town Council wants Hampton Road to get the major portion of road work by the province.

The government asked municipalities what their priorities were for numered highways within muncipal boundaries.

According to the Telegraph-Journal Quispamsis has Hampton Road, or Route 100, at the top of its list. The province offers a financial assistance program to communities with the funding percentage based on the type of municipality. For instance, a town could contribute between 15% and 25%.
