Moosehead unveils site for new brewery

Moosehead Breweries held a scavanger hunt for its employees yesterday as part of the announcement of where it’s small batch brewery will be located.

The employees raced around the uptown and Market Square before finally ending up at Pugsley Slip next to the Marco Polo Cruise Ship Terminal. That’s where Moosehead will be brewing and bottling small batches of beer as opposed to the major operation on the West Side.

They’ll be selling various branded products not just beer and giving visitors a look at a brewing operation.

Victoria Clarke, head of Discover Saint John, told the Telegraph-Journal It will be a good addition to the waterfront, adding vibrancy to the area.
