Drugs, weapon seized from residence

At 7:10 this morning, Saint John Police Street Crime Unit executed a warrant to search at a residence on Britain Street. A weapon and a quantity of drugs were seized. The weapon seized was a 12 Gauge Shotgun and the drugs seized were prescription pills.As a result a 37 year old male and a 23 year old female were arrested. They are to appear in court later this date.
