St. George woman killed while walking along highway

A St. George woman died after being hit by a vehicle last night.  It happened around 9:45 on Highway 1 in Waweig while she walked along the road.  The driver also went to hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, and it’s been determined that he was not impaired.  The investigation continues.
