Spying on daughter

A father has been given a nine month sentence in the community for spying on his daughter for years.

The Telegraph-Journal reports David Michael Wilson says he installed a secret camera on his daughter’s computer to monitor her access to the Internet. The daughter found out and Wilson was charged with having child pornography. He pleaded guilty to one count of voyeurism and the child porn charge was withdrawn.

The daughter Bonnie, who is over 18 now, gave permission for her name to be released and said in her victim impact statement her father’s crime has strained her family and relationships. His ex-wife Crystal said she’s been drinking more, had to change her phone and locks, suffers from depression and anxiety
