Psychiatric Assessment

A woman has been sent for a psychiatric assessment after being charged with ripping up flowers at the Golden ball this week.

25 year old Robin Sherwood, of Pitt Street, was scheduled for a bail hearing Thursday but could be heard screaming behind a door before she walked quietly into the court room on charges of mischief and breaching a court order to stay away from the Golden Ball.

She pleaded not guilty earlier. The judge sent her for a 30 day assessment and she will return to court September 22.
