Elsie Wayne funeral

Former Conservative colleague Jean Charest will deliver the eulogy at Elsie Wayne’s funeral Saturday. He and Wayne were the only Tories  left in the Commons when the Liberals swept to power in 1993. Charest said he was saddened by her loss and counted himself very lucky to have had her at his side when they were facing such a daunting challenge.

Several dignitaries will be attending the service Saturday at 11:00am at RiverCross Church and it will be streamed live on the church’s website as all of its services are.
