Doctor numbers drop

The number of doctors in New Brunswick fell last year.

There were 53 fewer physicians than in 2014. The Canadian Institute for Health Information says there were 222 doctors for every 100,000 people. The Canadian average if 228. The report also noted we have the second highest proportion of female doctors behind only Ontario.
