Hotel guest rescued from elevator

A Saint John Hotel Guest had to be rescued from an elevator on Saturday night. The Fire Department responded to Hilton Hotel at Market Square around 8:00pm to to free the trapped guest. The person in question had been stuck in the elevator for about twenty minutes. There no word yet on what caused the elevator to malfunction.
