World Under-17 Hockey Challenge coming to Greater Saint John

In a major announcement at Harbour Station this morning, Hockey Canada announced a bid by Saint John and Quispamsis has won the 2018 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.  The tournament is essentially an
under-17 world championship, only Canada enters three regional teams. They’ll
compete against national under 17 teams from Russia, The U.S, Sweeden,
Finland and the Czech Republic. The 2018 World Under 17 Challenge will be
played at rinks in both Quispamsis and Saint John next November.
