It was a strong opening weekend for the Freddie Mercuric Biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody” as it opened in theatres this weekend. It crossed the $50 Million mark in sales earning the top Box Office draw for the week of Nov 2nd. Disney’s “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” raked in $20 million to come in a distant second. “Nobody’s Fool”, “A Star Is Born” and “Halloween” rounded out the top 5 this weekend.
Last weeks #1 Box Office draw “Halloween” fell all the way to #5 pulling in $11 million this weekend. The follow-up to John Carpenter’s 1978 original has carved its way to $150.4 million domestic and $229 million worldwide, on a reported cost of $10 million. Not a bad return on investment!
