Changes coming for next week’s Chase the Ace

Almost every Wednesday night for the last 2-and-a-half years or so, hopefuls have been gathering for a chance to win with the Loch Lomond Villa Foundation’s Chase the Ace.  As the current round gets down to the final 9 cards in the deck, the jackpot is growing, and so are the crowds.

That’s why some changes are being made for next week’s event:

  • Everything will still operate the same at the 3-Mile with ticket sales between 4:00 and 7:00.  The ticket draw and the cut of the deck will still happen at the 3-Mile “Function Junction” at 7:15
  • There will be an overflow location at the Simonds Lions Auditorium on Loch Lomond Road (at the Loch Lomond Villa) and tickets will be on sale at that location between 4:00 and 7:00.  Winning ticket numbers will be announced at this location at the same time they are read at the 3-Mile.  A representative of the Villa Foundation will be on hand to verify ticket numbers.  If the winner is at that location, they will be transported to the 3-Mile to collect the cash prize (20% of the evening’s ticket sales) and select a card.

As always, if the Ace of Spades is selected, the winner will take home the jackpot, which is very likely to exceed $35,000 this week!  If not, we’ll do it all over again the following week with 8 cards left in the deck!

See you Wednesday!
